PRE-ASESSEMENT


During our pre-assessment, I arrived at 6:19 AM. We were given individual hands-on tasks for COC 1 to COC 4. We followed the guide provided by our trainer and followed the instructions based on our assigned class (A, B, or C). After that, we did cabling so it could be used by the others, and we arranged it on the patch panel so it can be used next time.

DAY 1 OF JDVP TRAINING

I arrived at 7:39 AM. The first thing we did was attendance, then our trainer introduced herself — her name is Ms. Irene A. Psnginahug. After that, we discussed COC-1 to COC-2 and the three listed competencies, which are Basic, Common, and Core. Next, we discussed the Operating System. We also talked about different topics like tools, BIOS, OS, formatting, reformatting, and IP addresses. After that, Miss Irene gave us an exam with 30 items, then we checked our papers. Before going home for lunch, she did attendance again to record our time-out. At noon, I arrived at 12:51 PM and we had attendance again to record our arrival. After that, we studied the 20-pin connector. When we finished, we took another exam with 50 items, then we checked our papers. DAY 4 OF JDVP TRAINING

I arrived at 7:20 AM. Then we had attendance followed by a prayer. After that, we continued configuring the network. Next, we connected the client, server, router, wireless access point, and switch hub. After that, we did formatting on the server and client. Then we learned how to install applications on the server and client. After that, we went home. In the afternoon, I arrived at 12:30 PM. Then we continued formatting the server and client, and how to set up the computer for both client and server. Then Miss Irine instructed us one by one on how to format the client and server so that we could really learn. She also asked us one by one to demonstrate how to connect the client, server, access point, and router to the patch panel. The applications for the client and server were also downloading. After that, we renamed the PCs and then we finished. When we were done, we cleaned up, then we had attendance again, and afterwards we prayed again.

Good day! I am April Mae A. Casinillo, and I am here to share my story about who I am and the dreams I hope to achieve. I am very shy around everyone, but I wish that someday my shyness will go away. I also have a dream to finish my studies because I really want to give back to my parents who continue to sacrifice and work hard for us, even when they are tired.
